A large number of physicians across the country are looking to expand their clinical practice to offer clinical research services to their patients and communities. Getting started can seem daunting; where do I find enrolling trials? How do I win new trial awards and sustain the trial pipeline? How do I match my patient population or community demographics to currently enrolling trials? And how do I handle the administrative oversight of clinical research while maintaining my clinical practice?
As of January 2024, there are over 20,400 active and enrolling clinical trials in the U.S. The sheer number of clinical trials to sift through and the administrative oversight required to run trials at a site can prevent motivated physicians from participating and their patients from reaping the benefits of clinical research. At MALS, we don't consider ourselves a service provider but rather a partner whose success is closely connected to yours. Our business model is built so that we don't earn unless you earn.
By eliminating upfront costs to the site, we hope to encourage motivated physicians to participate in the clinical research industry
MALS invests the time to get to know our site partners, from our investigators' research interests to the patient population they serve. We'll use that knowledge of your site to build a complete site profile and combine that with our contacts in the industry to help you identify and win trials.
Once a qualification visit is passed and your site is awarded the study, MALS will review the terms and conditions of the budget and contract to ensure you receive the maximum Fair Market Value (FMV) for your services. The best part is, when you partner with MALS, this service is provided at no cost to you.*
An accurate build of the study in your Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) is critical to ensuring your trial is properly managed (and invoiced) from start-up to closeout. MALS will load your trial into the CTMS, including any protocol amendments, and use your CTMS to bill and collect for your services.
MALS will submit invoices on your behalf to the CRO or study sponsor and conduct follow up to ensure all money owed to your site is collected and no outstanding payments are owed to you.
